MEET THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
BOARD PRESIDENT
Dr. Reginaldo F. Johnson is the President of Genuine Partnership to Success (GPS) and a native of Panama Republic of Panama. His role as President is to oversee the operation of Genuine Partnership to Success. Additionally, Dr. Johnson helps the board as a whole to think strategically about the organization’s achievements for mission, vision and long-term goals, He has served thirty-nine years as a distinguished supervisor in the field of public relations.
VICE PRESIDENT
Dr. Leroy Coleman is Vice President of Genuine Partnership to Success (GPS). He has served in the Illinois school system for thirty-one years. As Vice President he executes the business plan and strategies for the organization. His focus is to create extensive promotion strategies, employment recruitment and relations that generate positive change or influence on the key accomplishment factors of Genuine Partnership to Success. Additionally, Dr. Coleman has developed, implemented and evaluated programs within various school districts at the primary and secondary levels. He has also instituted many parent and community programs to improve student, parent and community relations.
CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Demond Cottrill is the CIO of Genuine Partnership to Success (GPS). His role is to set technical direction and provide technology solutions that support Tier III and goals of the organization. Some of his key responsibilities are network administration, web presence, and information security. Demond is a former software developer and tester. He spent eighteen years in the wireless telecommunications industry creating, testing, and demonstrating wireless software solutions for one of the nations’ largest wireless service providers.
BOARD SECRETARY
Krisha Rogers is the Board Secretary of Genuine Partnership to Success, Inc. (GPS). Her role as Board Secretary includes ensuring the integrity of the governance framework, being responsible for the efficient administration of the organization, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and implementing decisions made by the Board of Directors. Krisha Rogers is bi-lingual and an educator for thirty-one years. She has taught both English and Spanish, served as Dean of Students and Language Department Chairperson at the High School level.
ADVISOR
Dr. Melida A. Harris-Barrow serves on the advisory board for Genuine Partnership to Success, Inc. Her primary role is to provide advice and development of performance and future opportunities of the organization. Dr. Harris-Barrow is a well renowned distinguish leader among Heads of States, Clergy, and Dignitaries. She is multi-lingual and founder of the Panama World Trade and Investment Foundation (PWTIF). Her leadership work with youth and young adults has awarded her global recognition from around the world such as Trinidad, Tobago, Ethiopia, India, and Panama.
SENIOR ADVISOR
Dr. James Coleman serves as the Senior Advisor of Genuine Partnership to Success. His role is to track, analyze, and provide advice on the full range of operational and policy issues of Genuine Partnership to Success, Inc. Dr. Coleman is the former Chairman of the Board of Hearts and Homes for Youth, which provides housing for more than one hundred disadvantaged youth. He also served as Associate Dean, Office of Residence Life, and Student Affairs at Howard University for 32 years. Additionally, he served as President and on the Executive Board of the National Association of Student Affairs Professionals (NASAP) and received the Sadie M. Yancey Award in the field of Student Affairs work in higher education.
